Personal Preparation:
Start by cleaning your face with a non-oil based cleanser. Men should shave before use as hair can interfere with the conductivity of the probes. Facial areas under a beard or mustache cannot be treated.
When using NuFace® make sure you are positioned in front of a mirror in a well-lit room.
Face:
JAW (Depressor Anguli Oris Muscle) + (Platysma Muscle)
• Apply the Derma-Gel before NuFace® application.
• Position the bottom probe on your jaw line with the top probe slightly above the bottom probe (starting on nasolabial fold).
• Slowly glide NuFace® from the jowl area to the lobe of your ear. LOWER CHEEKS (Depressor Anguli Oris Muscle)
• Position the bottom probe slightly under your cheek bone, by the corner of your mouth and staying outside your circular mouth muscle, with the top probe slightly above the bottom probe (starting on the nasolabial folds).
• Slowly glide your NuFace® from the beginning of your cheek bone, by your nose, to the mid point of your ear.
UPPER CHEEKS + TEMPLES
• Position the bottom probe under your cheek bone, by your nose, with the top probe slightly above the bottom probe and staying outside the orbital rim of your eye (circular eye muscle).
• Slowly glide your NuFace® from the beginning of your cheek bone, by your nose, to your temple/upper ear.
REPEAT EACH STEP A TOTAL OF THREE (3) TIMES. GLIDE NuFace® VERY SLOWLY.

• Apply the Derma-Gel before NuFace® application.
• Position the probes horizontally, with the probes off centered above the thick of your brow.
• Slowly glide probes upward and toward your hairline.

• Mouth Area (circular muscle inside nasolabial fold)
• Eye area (circular muscle inside orbital rim)
Position the NuFace® probes outside the mouth and eye areas as these are circular muscles that must be avoided.

How quickly will I see results?
You will see the results with NuFace® after the first treatment.
How long do these results last?
The treatments are cumulative. One NuFace® treatment should last approximately 18-72 hours.
How often is the NuFace® treatment recommended?
NuFace® may be safely used ONCE a day. Any more often than once in a 24 hour period is not recommended as the muscles need rest time between treatments.
How much current should I feel?
Facial sensitivity varies from individual to individual. You can lower or raise the intensity during any segment by turning the thumbwheel up or down on the machine. You might feel a slight yet comfortable tingling as your facial tone comes into balance.
How long does the treatment take?
The treatment takes roughly 5+ minutes. Use the Advanced Techniques (view video) for better lifting results.
What is the best time of day to use NuFace®?
NuFace® may be used at any time of day that fits your schedule.
Can NuFace® be used wearing make-up or skin care products?
No. NuFace® may only be used with a conductive liquid or gel, preferably the Derma-Gel included in the NuFace® Kit. The Optimizing Mist is used post treatment as a finishing spray. Both products can be reordered through our website www.NuFace.net or by an authorized NuFace® retailer.
If I’m planning cosmetic surgery, can I use NuFace®?
Yes. But most importantly ask and consult your surgeon and please follow your doctor’s recommendations. NuFace® can be used before surgery to enhance restoration and balance of the facial tone. NuFace® may also be used after surgery to aid in reducing puffiness and maintain the work of the surgeon. NuFace® may be used in conjunction with other facial treatments and injectables.
How do I know NuFace® is working?
NuFace® does not make noise, vibrate, rotate or beep. The green power indicator light will illuminate notifying you the NuFace® is on and treatment is ready to begin. To ensure NuFace® is working properly, turn NuFace® on HIGH, without any conductivity gel, touch both probes to the cheek area. You will feel a tingling; your NuFace® is working properly!
I have used other facial stimulators and they contract my muscles, NuFace® is not?
NuFace® utilizes microcurrent. Microcurrent is a low level current. NuFace® will NOT contract the muscles. In certain areas you may feel a slight tingling as the tone come into balance or if conductivity mediums begin to dry (reapply).
When will I see NuFace® results?
Immediately, lift half your face and do a comparison of each side, you will notice a slight lift. Results are cumulative; each treatment builds upon the last.
When should I lift my face, in the morning or night?
You may use NuFace® once a day, at anytime that fits your schedule. NuFace® acts as an extension of your daily skincare regimen.
Can I lift my face more then once a day?
We recommend lifting your face only ONCE a day. Remember, NuFace® is restoring facial tone for long term results. Extend treatment time or incorporate the advanced technique for better results.
How fast should I be gliding the NuFace®?
Take your time with the NuFace® treatment; each step should be roughly a long 4 count (one- one thousand, two-one thousand, etc.)
